Returns
We certainly understand that things do not always go as planned. If you are not satisfied with a product or purchase and would like to exchange the item, or would like a credit or refund for the item, please contact our service department at 1-800-654-3247 to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. We will begin processing your request as soon as an RA# has been assigned. We offer a 30 day risk-free return period; however, we will not accept returns without an Authorization Number.
All merchandise that we sell is guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for 30 days from the date you receive it. Liability of Obsolete & Classic Auto Parts is limited to the replacement of any such defective product. Manufacturers may guarantee their products for longer periods of time and should a defect become apparent after 30 days from the date you received the item, replacement or repair of defective item will be processed through the manufacturer according to their warranty policy and at their discretion.
Any shipping or handling charges associated with the return of an item will be the responsibility of the purchaser, unless we are in error, in which case we will be responsible for such charges. We will not accept returns or exchanges shipped to us via C.O.D. or freight collect.
All non-defective returns subject to a 20% restocking fee, or 100% in-store credit on non-defective items returned within 30 days.
We cannot accept returned items that have been used, painted, installed incorrectly or altered in any way.
Special order items, drop shipped items, custom manufactured items, books, electrical items, catalogs, computer media, wood products or items requiring special delivery via truck freight are non-returnable.
Each item returned to us in addition to requiring an approved Return Authorization number, must also be accompanied by the original invoice or a copy of such.
If You Receive damaged items:
Items damaged in shipping SHOULD NOT immediately be returned to us. The shipping company should be notified as soon as damage in shipment is realized. If you receive an item that has been damaged in shipping, please give us a call so that we can help expedite a claim against the shipper. Items returned to us that were damaged in shipping without first notifying the shipper will not be accepted.
Discrepancies in orders or damaged items should be reported within 5 days. No claims will be accepted after 5 days. For truck freight deliveries, please inspect packages at the time of delivery with the truck driver present and note any damages on the bill of lading.
All returns will be inspected before issuing a refund, credit, or exchange. Our return policy may change from time to time without notification.
